Unsigned Showcases: Top boys players in LA
The TopDrawerSoccer Unsigned Showcases stop in Los Angeles offered a chance for several local players to compete in front of area colleges.

Below are some of the boys standouts from the event.
GK Ethan Albertson, San Diego SC (2018): Albertson organized his backline well and was consistently communicating with them. He is a very coachable player who was a pleasure to work with. Albertson has great hands, makes smart decisions and excels at coming out on corner kicks.
D William Culhane, Oklahoma FC: Culhane is an excellent player with great technical ability. He is very good on the ball and was constantly moving off the ball to support his teammates. He is patient, strong and was absolutely one of the best players on the day.
D Nicholas Campbell, LA Galaxy South Bay (2018): Campbell is a big, strong and athletic defender. He keeps everything in front of him and is a leader in the back. He has a solid technical base and consistently produced great long balls.
D Jonas Votaw, Scottsdale Soccer Blackhawks (2019): Votaw is a vocal player who keeps calm under pressure. He has a good first touch and moves well with and off of the ball. Votaw plays simple and is a reliable player to keep an eye on.
M Damian Vasquez, FC Manchester United (2019): Vasquez is a very fast and explosive player. He has good footwork when he defends and has very impressive foot skills with the ball at his feet. In addition, he moves well off of the ball to support his teammates.
M Derick Roque, Downey FC (2019): Roque is a very smooth player who excels in all aspects of the game. He does a good job of getting open and dazzles with the ball at his feet. He is a strong presence on the field and communicates very well.
M Cesar Ruvalcaba, Downey FC (2019): Ruvalcaba is a quick player who does a good job closing in on attacking players. He distributes well and had some nice tackles during the full field game. Overall, Ruvalcaba is a solid player.
M Robert Colello, San Diego SC (2019): Colello is great in traffic and is very fast with the ball at his feet. He makes quick, smart decisions and is strong on the ball. Colello was one of the best players on the day and was extremely dangerous around the goal.
M Rafeal Jimenez, Arsenal FC South (2020): Jimenez is a good player who can be a diamond in the rough. He is very quick with the ball at his feet and constantly moves off of the ball. He excels at receiving the ball and overall has a solid set of skills.
M Jorge Ruvalcaba, Arsenal FC (CA) (2019): Ruvalcaba is a fast player with strong technical abilities. He works hard when the ball is near and makes good runs. He communicates well, but should ask for the ball more because he is good at getting open.
F Jarren Culpepper, Los Angeles Premier FC (2019): Culpepper is a very strong and fast player who possesses good technical skills. He is extremely coachable and has the potential to develop into a very strong overall player.
